Probably can scrape backing off but why not just put clear glass in the frame?
Can't get it out. One of those really cheap fabricated cabinet doors with mirror glued in between. Only way to take mirror out would be to break frame. Not sure I want to even keep the cabinet.
Would you consider instead, painting over the mirror? You can use chalkboard paint and turn it into a chalkboard instead of the mirror.
Taking the mirror out sounds complicated. I think maybe covering it up with paint or contact paper could be a simpler solution. Good luck, whatever you choose!
Thanks for all input.
Yes. There is a chemical you can use on the mirror, but I do not remember the name of it. I do know that you can use a fine steel wool to get it off by rubbing in circular motions.
Thanks. I Googled it and found out I could.
