When painting a wall, what is the best way to paint the ceiling edge for those of us without a steady hand?

Dan's of Central Florida, Inc. on Apr 16, 2011Hi Glenn, They make brush paint shields that you can buy for just a few dollars at any paint supply store. Put the shield and brush up to it. The secret here is to dab off most of the paint from your brush onto the wall before running your brush down the shield. Spread out your dabbed paint afterwards to make your brush cut wider.Helpful Reply

Imagery on Apr 16, 2011Glenn, you may want to use blue masking tape to tape off the ceiling. There are also edger paint pads that have guide wheels that work if you don't want to tape off the area.Helpful Reply
