My kitchen cabinets are embarrassingly greasy. Please share your degreasing tips with me so I don't have to cringe every time I glance at my cabinets.
Use a small amount of toothpaste on a soft cloth (cotton t-shirt) and rub the stain lightly in a circular pattern or with direction of wood grain until the water stain lifts off of the surface.
You can also try leaving petroleum jelly overnight on top of the mark, wipe away in the morning...voila! Good luck!
My mom always uses petroleum jelly for wood table issues. It amazes me every time- it works!
Rub any oily substance (peanut butter, coconut oil, a walnut.etc) with a soft cloth in a circular motion.
Place a tea towel over mark, apply a hot dry iron on top, lightly move back and forth checking periodically to see it disappears. Depending how deep it is will depend on how long it takes. Whatever you do, do not leave it idle. Voila, new again. Works every time.
I'm with the petroleum jelly ladies ... my Mom had a mahogany cabinet which seemed to attract rings from glasses and mugs ... all she ever used was the petroleum jelly; worked every time.
