After cleaning up my mother in laws side yard, I noticed one of her trellis' laying in a broken heap. I told my husband - Do not throw it out - throw it in the truck!
Ive had an old jug laying around as well. I measured the jug, and just started measuring and cutting the wood. I used a pen to mark the cut line on each piece of wood. I began by building a base, then the four sides, finally the angled side supports. I used a jigsaw and small finish trim nails. As I was not sure what I was making - I did NOT take photos. After the "crate" was complete, I printed a vintage port label, which I found searching the Internet - I attached the label with spray adhesive.
