Have you tried making a paste with baking soda and water?
Baking soda and water works great. But to shine it up I use the granite cleaner I use on my granite counter tops. I like Granite Gold. Yu can buy it at Walmart.
After cleaning, you could try some Liquid Glass. It's actually a car product, but will make any non-porous surface shine like new. Just wipe on then wipe off. No hard rubbing or buffing. I clean houses and use it in worn out bathrooms to bring the shine back. It's not cheap, but a can will last almost forever.
Marble, granite, and stone do NOT like having acidic (ie: citrus-based) cleaners used on them. Citrus or vinegar will actually cause “etching” on granite countertops. Not a good thing. Granite countertops also don’t like it when you use something like Windex on them because it strips the “seal” off of the stone. *****Apparently there are some very nice countertop/granite cleaners out there that do a great job…but $7.00 for a 12-ounce bottle? YOU can do better than that! :-) ***** After researching several homemade options out there…I discovered they all had the same basic ingredients…just in varying amounts. Some had a LOT of alcohol in them…some very little. I think the following “recipe” has a good balance of the ingredients, based on the information I read. ***** Homemade Granite Cleaner, 1/4 cup of rubbing alcohol (or cheap vodka), 3 drops of Dawn or other dish soap (Castile soap would also be a good alternative if you prefer), Water, 5-10 drops essential oil (optional – to help mask the alcohol smell). ***** Put the rubbing alcohol or vodka into a 16 oz spray bottle. Add the dish soap, essential oil and fill up the rest of the bottle with water.
Now give it a few shakes….THEN give it a try! It should give your countertops a nice, clean shine. Works on appliances too! All at a FRACTION of the price of the store-bought stuff.
As a kitchen and bath pro, You clean a black Blanco sink with Bar Keepers Friend. White spots can be taken out with mineral oil. This is straight out of Blanco customer service.
YES. YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO SPRINKLE ON THEN RINSE OFF A FEW SECONDS LATER. WE DIDNT HAVE TO RUB OR ANYTHING.
Thank you all for your great ideas. I will try them all, I do have 2 sinks, and post pics with the updates. This is great, thank you all so much!!!
I have a black composite sink, and have found that, after trying LOTS of ideas and products, and solutions, once I've finishing using the sink in the evening, I wipe the entire sink down with either mineral or kitchen (or baby) oil on paper towels. (I use whichever I have, or is least expensive). DO NOT RINSE; let the oil sit overnight -- this simple solution has kept my black sink looking great for 8 years now. Sometimes, you'll see you've missed some spots, so just repeat as needed. Water rings might take a few passes, depending on how old they are. Depending on use, you can do this as often as you feel the need -- it kind of looks like dry skin, then skin with lotion :) Also -- I found that the oil also removed soap residue that held some food residue/coloring. No need to scrub, and leave the bottom of the sink -- especially where the water spots/rings are -- with a good coat of oil overnight. In the morning, just use the sink as usual. Once you get used to how it's going, you'll know when it's time for a refresh. Good luck!
try shampoo, it cleans and shines.
I have used Bar keepers friend for years and they have a new foaming spray that may work on your sink. I sent a link for Walmart but you may be able to find it any where you shop its not the liquid its the foaming spray it helps with stains and discolorations. Hope it helps I have used this product for many years and found it to work on almost anything (with in reason). Teresa

I clean my black sink with "CLR Kitchen & Bath" it works great. Actually removes all the buildup and water stains & spots. Leaves it just like new.
Use cleaner called EDFRED also works great on stainless steel. Cleans hard water stains .
I too use Barkeepers soft soap spray on everything! Rinse well with hot water, wipe dry with a clean paper towel. Easy peasy. Works wonderful.
I love Barkeepers Friend. However, I hate trying to make a black enamel sink look great day after day without major work. After more than two years of effort I finally just replaced the dang sink!
I just use one of those dish detergent wands with the pad on them (dollar store) filled with blue Dawn....give the entire sink a good scrub down, rinse, dry then I apply mineral oil and rub and buff the sink....spots are gone!! I do this weekly and my sink looks fantastic, almost better than the day I bought it!! (I had to deal with the spots that my contractor had left in the basin of the sink...was NOT happy with him for quite some time until I found this trick!! lol)
