We had some strange ice formations show up on Christmas morning. Have you ever seen anything like this? They have been identified as a phenomena known as "Needle Ice".

I was raised in Mississippi and I saw this quite frequently growing up. Somehow, I remember it being terribly cold when I was a child, but then we did not have the central heat and that is probably why!

Here are a couple of other ice oddities. I would love to see them all. I grew up in MI with plenty of cold, snow and ice and never saw anything like these three pictures.
