I actually just did this for a mosaic- I found on ebay.
The mosaic that I made before that- I went to thrift shops and purchased random glass dishes and broke them with a hammer- it was very loud, and I didn't love the process but it worked too!
i purchased some cheap pics with frames from
dollar store and used the glass. They were cheap
frames and not so pretty pics. Didn't mind throwing
them away.
Spectrum glass, I believe has an online store.
My daughter makes mosaic's. She buys some pieces on-line but most is from plates she gets at thrift stores. If you'd like to see some of her work check out her blog - JeannetteEatsSpaghetti.com there is a tab at the top of the page with pictures of some of her work. Hope this helps!
I have bought broken glass for mosaics from both eBay and Etsy.

DIY - Some medicine bottles are blue; pop bottles - green; vases - red; etc.
Put in a paper bag smash with hammer. Pick out the pieces you want
and small chips can be thrown out.
If there is someone in your area who does stained glass, ask them if they have any scraps. This can get you a lot of glass. I got so much this way that I sold the extra scraps on Ebay.
You can find anything on Ebay! You may also find some dishes to your liking at a thrift shop and break them up by putting them into a paper bag.
