thank you for posting this. I recently had my first experience with decoupage. It is part of a larger project, so will share when done. Because of my experience with veneering I ended up resorting to ironing some wrinkles and it worked pretty well. But if I had saw your post earlier I would have "ironed earlier" rather than the next day. How long of drying time do you recommend before ironing? Thanks again for posting.
Would non-stick cooking parchment work as a release paper?
I'm definitely going to investigate this technique. I decoupage quite often while creating my mixed-media art projects, and there are often times when I wish I could get something to lay flat. Thanks for the tips.
