How can I clean the bottoms of pans??

  No, just years old and cooked on grease and such. I'm tired of nothing being able to get them clean. I have tried bar keepers friend, baking soda and almost everything else. Is there some mixture of stuff that works?

i use spray on oven cleaner. May take several applications, but works.

  Note: my pans are stainless steel. I heat a little then put on newspaper and spray them. ( if using cleaner that requires heat, if not just spray. I check them after 1/2 hour).

How about baking soda mixed with Hydrogen peroxide.into a paste

Barkeepers friend and crunched up aluminum foil. Scrub away!

  i will try the foil with BKF. It, by itself, did not work will try the foil. Thanks a lot.

It works! Just make a ball of the foil, sprinkle on the BKF with water to make a paste and scrub! I think this will scratch aluminum pans so this is for Stainless...
