Which painting techniques should I use on my kitchen cabinets?????
There are so many different ways now to paint things, I am trying to decide on my kitchen makeover I am using grey wood hardwood floors, doing a mosaic backsplash with grey, white and colbolt blue is my main color. I am thinking on cabinets and I don't want a solid colbolt blue because it would be dark and my kitchen is little ,for now. Can you suggest different techniques to use, like painting them solid then maybe sanding? I looked at whitewash but it changes the shade of blue.... what else is out there???

You can use a chalkpaint- to get that distressed, vintage look with very little effort, and it avoids the problem of being "solid"
