A 50/50 mix of hot water and Murphy's Oil Soap. ( Works great on wood floors.) I use an old rag and a little elbow grease and voila! OR ........ you could use Barkeepers Soft Soap and hot water. Love to use this on just about everything including my glass top stove and shower stalls!
Make a mixture of white vinegar and water 50/50 which will cut the grease and not leave an oily residue like soap.
You can also use the 1 part vegetable oil to 2 parts baking soda recipe. Good luck!!
This works for me! Good luck!
TSP
Clorox wipes. Really.
I agree with Sharon...mine are all older pine...TSP works wonders..and it's what most painters use for prep work before painting!
Oil and water do not mix! Use a wood cleaner made from oil. Let set and wipe off. May take a few times but leaves your wood shining and clean.
