I have a small corner shower and the rollers on the doors are damaged. I'd like to put up an 'L' shaped curtain rod and curtains. Any ideas on how to make this work or how to put them up?

I'd replace the rollers on the door first (if possible) as the least costly way to go. If you remove the door, an inside shower curtain will be necessary. Best of luck.

Why not just use velcro on door header to hang up curtains. Liner on the inside curtain on outside? I'm not trying to sound like either of us is a complete idiot but have you cleaned the track and wheels? If you are handy you can remove header and have full access to door it should just lift out then you can see if it's really clean. If it is then it may be possible to replace the track or wheels or the door. Don't hold me to the replacement part because I would suggest going into store first to see if they can do it sometimes it helps to bring item in which would be the door so that they can measure it properly and order what you need. Have you tried letting it completely dry for at least 2 days andspraying with wd40? When housessettle overtime these things happen. But for now wd40 if that doesn't work then curtain is the most inexpensive way to go. But talk to your big box places or an ace store because they would know best approach. That's what I would do.

I'll have to check with Lowe's where I bought it. They should carry replacement rollers. This was the smaller and cheapest shower stall they had ... the rollers broke. BUT ... I like the idea of Velcro ... I never thought of that! That's why I love this sight on Hometalk!

those replacement rollers are like $3.00 just replace the darn things. The only tricky part is how they are hung...with mine the outer door is hung on the inside rollers out and the inner one is hung facing inside. One good thing is you can get to and clean the mounting shelf. I take mine down to clean every season..there is also a track on the bottom. That holds the doors apart, change that out too. Make sure it's really clean before you attach the bracket. We are talking about a $5 total fix and your doors will operate likenew.
