Any ideas for cleaning pool scale???

We have tried everything to get rid of the scale (cement-like) around our pool. Nothing has worked except literally scraping with pumice stone or razor blades. Muriatic acid did not work either. Any ideas?

Calcium deposits on pools are one of those pains that takes a good deal of effort to remove. It's hard to get around the task of applying a chemical cleaner and giving it a good scrub with a nylon brush or pumice stone
Pumice stone does the trick but its a lot of elbow grease- good luck!
