You can dress it up with some paint , wallpaper, lace, a combination of before mentioned items or simply leave as it is. I have one and left mine in plain wood. It's stacked up with a couple of solid colored plastic hatboxes near our shower. I keep extra bars of soap, shampoo, cream rinse, bath gels, feminine products, toilet paper, etc. in them for quick access without having to get out of the shower in case I run suddenly run out of something. Not only are they pretty but they come in very handy when you run out of something in the middle of your shower or your on the throne and they provide extra storage and I know every one can use extra storage. LOL
