you might also reorganize the lower cabinents by putting in sliders and stacking systems to get some of the countertop stuff put away for a cleaner look. Maybe add a painted pegboard or grid to that red wall for some S-hook hanging storage.

the items i cook with weekly are the ones in my kitchen cupboards. the cookie sheets are in a storage containers under my hutch. crock pots, muffin pans, thing not used daily/ weekly are stored in plastic bins at the foot of the basement steps. i miss my canning kitchen
Put command hooks on the inside of cabinet doors, and declutter regularly! You'll be surprised what you can live without. If you haven't used it in six months you should store it and keep a list of what's in each storage box taped inside a cupboard.
