I had a mirror that was once part of a dresser set. It had a wide frame around it. I use Mod Podge to adhere colorful scrapbook papers inside that frame and totally changed to look of the mirror.

You can buy specialty wall calendars at places like Barns & Noble. I sometimes order mine on calendars.com, from fine art to cars...and so much more. Use specialty wrapping paper, wallpaper and designer napkins just to name a few. Projects to try: small plastic trashcans (spray paint inside and out) with a complementary color or gold or silver. Can use a template to cover the entire outside or cut out pieces and glue to surface. Cover tin cans. Decorate clay pots or plastic pots. Cigar boxes or those paper boxes from craft stores. How about the face of a clock. Light fixture plates. Baskets. Plates and charger plates. How about some gourds.
