How to restore a vanity for little girl
Is it veneer? Don't try stripping it be. It will fall apart...scuff it up, prime and paint.
I agree it is likely a veneer and you would be okay to strip the veneer but it's a lot of work. Painting it an appropriate color for your decor is the best suggestion. You can even go funky with different colors and special attention made to the mirror. Accent in gold or silver.....so many possibilities. Use your imagination and let your crafty self go!
You can try some restoring products like Howards restore-a-finish if the piece is just dull and a bit scuffed up... that sounds like a wonderful mix of woods!
