Would you be interested in putting up curtains? they could be sheer so that you can still enjoy the view but they'd defend your porch from pollen
Just hang plastic blue tarps on wire on the outside that you can open at will. The rain will clean them off. You can't use the darn porch anyway with that pollen flying...don't use fabric. Because it won't block everything ..In Fact...it will hold pollen and the fabric will have to be washed .
