Yeah I know. It's just that Hometalkers have found and used some incredible things that 'google' never gets to. I haven't had any luck using the HomeTalk search button either, even though I know I've read and seen tips. Sigh. But thank you for responding!

Hello Turtle! You said you preferred not to use spray paint. Sounds like me a few years ago...To be honest, I did not know how and made a mess every time I painted--it looked awful! What I did. Bought really cheap cans of spray paint, took them home and practiced on pieces of junk, watched MANY videos on YouTube and finally got it right. Just a thought. However, you can research on YouTube about painting and/or sealing wood furniture. Love those videos! Google it too.
