How can I remove a white circle from my dining room table?

We should have never bought this table! When the grandchildren come over, I am constantly putting down coasters and placemats, but if a drink is left on a placemat, it can leave a white mark! Any suggestion? (other than buying a different table!)

I say get a special "grandchildren" tablecloth that comes out specially for when they come over. In terms of removing the marks, I usually use Vaseline to attack my wooden furniture stains.

    Good luck!

i have the same problem & use the special plastic cloth for children. But sometimes adults can leave water rings too. Then I rub olive oil into the wood (with the grain) to displace the water. I've even left an oil soaked paper towel on the stain overnight - works like magic!

I've also had success with olive oil, and if it needs an added kick, you can mix some vinegar in too, good luck!

I have always used the plastic tablecloths when the grandchildren are here, but sometimes the drink ring can even soak through that! I am going to try the olive oil! Thank you!

Place waxed paper over the ring and use a barely warm iron over it. Be careful - not too warm and do not leave iron on very long.
