Down here when someone asks how do you make a gumbo we say first you make a roux. A little humor, first you make your measurements. I am too old to do heavy building any more so I went with chrome wire shelving on wheels so I could move them around. They are quite reasonable and come in all sizes.
Google the internet. There are tons of videos and how-to sites.
Why can't they have a cute handyman in a box to help you with your building dilemmas.
