A good rule for pruning your Butterfly Bush is to do so late winter or early spring, just as the new buds begin to swell.
thx so much!!!
Early spring is best - before it really buds - good time to thin it out also if needed
thx so much! It still has the buds, dead and straggly looking, so now would be best time?????
Any flowering plant should be pruned immediately after flowering to avoid losing future blooms.
