Start with the ones that take the longest to germinate.
It really depends on your location. On the back of seed packages zones are shown for various starting times as well as germination rates. Again, your location is important as this determines when you may expect to plant your seedlings outside. Started to early and your seedlings could be root bound, leggy and transplant shock is much harder on them. There is a wealth of information on the Internet . I like State agricultural university sites as they usually have more information related to one's particular state. Hope this helps.
Also depends on what you are planting. I started my tomato plants indoors about 10 days ago. Indoors, you can start onions, peppers (all) broccoli, cabbage and in mid May, they can be planted outdoors. I usually buy all except tomatoes and in fall, I take seeds from the tomatoes and dry them after soaking them for a few days in water and put them in envelop marked 2016 Heirloom I have had a veggie garden now for over 43 years - love it but getting older now and a little harder - went from side yard 5x7' to 40x20' with help.
have you thought about straw bale gardening
Can start most anything indoors now. Get a jump start on tomato, peppers at least. Outside you can go ahead and put out potato, onions, and any kind of salad greens you plan to grow. Read up on different kinds of fertilizer each needs.
