Why are my cedar trees turning orange (dead) at the tips?
25 ft tall...10 ft deep mature perhaps 20 yrs old Not every branch but many...no bagworms or pests that I can see. What could it be?
If they are sweet oranges for sure, use citrus fertilizer spikes, use lots of epsom salts sprinkled under your tree canopys. Magnesium is an essential macronutrient for citrus fruits. My Figs love it and produce sugar sweet figs.
The orange trees you grow in your yard may not produce sweet oranges. They could be sour orange trees (Citrus aurantium) instead of sweet orange trees. Sour orange trees' fruits are grown for their bitter peels, which are used to add orange flavor to recipes. Their flesh is exceptionally sour and acidic.
