What are they made out of?
i assume foam inside and a waterproof material for outside. It's thecushions that have broken down. The shell of the furniture is plastic so will never break down.
Good idea
closed cell foam is used for cushions on boats. It's not cheap, but combined with waterproof/weather proof fabric, they should last a long time.
Thanks I will check it out
If the cushions are just discolores but structuraly sound, you can simple spray paint them as well as a he umbrella. I did this 3 years ago and they still look brand new.
What I do is wait for end of summer clearance. I actually bought my outside pillows from RiteAid.they were really nice and 75% off!
wow thanks
Stacie, I just purchased a spray paint from Lowes that covers plastic or cloth. You can buy at any hardware store. I also sprayed the cushion. Here is a picture of what it looks like after three years.
