Apply ice cubes so the wax hardens enough to be able to use a soft scraper.

Also, you can try pointing your blowdryer at the splatters so that it melts and loosens and doesn't damage your walls

The ice cube method works great for removing most of the wax. For any residue left . Use some brown paper bag paper and a hot iron. Place the paper over the wax and iron the paper. The wax will melt and soak into the paper.

I used a plastic (non metal) dish scrubbie gently to remove and smooth out the wax and then used Kilz before I repainted (years later), to seal in the stain.

Try using a credit card to scrape off the wax, then use a warm iron and an old dishtowel to remove any residue.

I use an old paper bag and an iron. Placing the bag over the candle dripping and ironing over it will cause the wax to melt and be absorbed by the paper. You have to move the paper each time you go over it with the iron so that a fresh spot is there to soak up the wax

All the wax is off, there is just a stain left that I can't remove

If the stain is on the sheet rock, it will be eventually covered with primer and paint, or another product so it won't show.
