We have the same problem with a back door. We've tried new rubber molding, pulling the trim off and stuffing more insulation in between the sheetrock and trim etc.

Are you trying to seal the door itself or weather proof it? If you are trying to protect the door finish use a spar varnish it's what they use on boats for protection . If you are trying to seal it there are plenty of weatherproofing options. Visit the local home depot or hardware store I'm sure they will give you options. I have used Spar varnish several times. It comes in different finishes, spray on or brush.
