We spray painted the bottles and used them on tables for an outdoor wedding - the were passed on for a co worker's party.
I was just crying to my roommates about the fact that we have no flower vases in our apartment...thanks for reminding me that it just takes a little creativity and effort for us to make some!
Ps- love those lady bugs!!
You can also cut the bottle neck off by wrapping twine soaked in acetone around the bottle, light it and immerce in ice cold water....done!
