Can I paint my popcorn ceiling?

I'm a big fan of using chalkpaint- it adheres to most surfaces and cuts out a lot of the steps otherwise needed. Good luck!!! Have fun!
Lightly sand,clean,prime with Kilz or Zinser,allow to dry,paint,allow to dry and apply at least two coats of a non-yellowing polycrylic. make sure you allow the polycrylic to completely dry before applying the second coat.
Rust-o-Leum makes a product that comes in a kit. It has a "stripper" that takes the finish off, paint color options, glaze ,and a polyeurathane.. I have used it and love it. I go tit at home depot. Lowes has it as well
