Has anyone used pots like this, and do they fade badly in the sun?

I've bought two so far. I just hate to buy pots and have them fade half way through the summer. I got these at Grocery Outlet.

all pots will fade in the sun.you can try spraying a clear spray protective from rustoleum, ,however I have found that does not hold up after one season so i just respray them.

Yes, I used something similar that faded.... but the faded pots didn't necessarily look bad!

Krylon has primer/paint combo in same color that adheres to metal and plastic to refresh them

As long as you are spraying them rustoleum has a glow in the dark spray...just a thought

I paint all my pots, too.

Any plastic pot will fade, I just get them out every spring and spray paint them. My large ceramic pots don't fade, but you take a chance on breakage and they are expensive. I have found all of mine at thrift stores, so much cheaper if you can find them.

Living in SW Florida, I find that plastic pots not only fade, they dry out and break apart.

I'm in Wisconsin, so I haven't tried this yet, but I'm gonna. I read that Turtle Car Wax brings back the color and shine, and if it's a wax, should be somewhat weather proof.

I bought those exact pots; they didn't fade but at least half of them split down the side for no reason I could figure out. Even though they were inexpensive, I wouldn't buy them again. Sorry

I was wondering about that since they are made out of pressed particles. I'm sticking with the two I have, and finding more sturdy pots to invest in. ❤

I don't use those anymore, they are too thin. I use smaller ones for house plants. Spray painting them each season is a good option! For outside I nail pallet boards on sturdy black pots from tree nurseries then dry brush with paint. So sturdy, so cheap and they look good!
