What's the easiest solution for Peeling paint on our stools?

We have a wrought iron bar w/four bar stools on our (Chicago) deck. It's exposed to constant sun in summer and snow in winter, It's about 15 years old. Layers of paint are coming off in chips. Problem is it looks like a sponging technique was used (soft black and verde green very subtle ). I cannot sand the bad spots and repaint to match existing look. Picture to follow. Easiest solution? Anyone?

I would just try using citristrip which is a safe non toxic striper and re-paint with a outdoor weather resistant spry paint for metal.

Thank you @Janet Pizaro. The sections that are peeling are less than 10% of the entire set and I was looking for a fast fix. I appreciate your recommended stripper (Citrestrip) I will pick up next time I'm at home improvement store.
