First pull them up as soon as you find one by the roots if possible. Even if you have to dig it up. Second never let them get big. Because the top is where the seeds are. Once it pops open the seeds will just spread and more wild onions.
Might want to reconsider, onions keep insects at bay.
They are also a hot item for indians. They create special dishes with them to commemorate something, not sure what. I may still have the article. If you have a local farmers market, maybe they would dig them up for you if you let them have them to sell....just a suggestion,,, Illcheck for the article.
