    Check with your local gardening center, they can be an invaluable source of help. Meanwhile, plants in large pots are an easy fix.

    1. i feel your pain. my lot is filled with tree roots. pines and cedar- the make the soil very acidic. i did put down lime last year to help it out. my veg garden is in grow sacks above ground. the least expensive source was a growers supply company 7 gal bags. amazon carries them as well.

    Test the soil, there maybe lack of lye, or other facts. This comes in a kit, and easy to do. Best wishes.
