Dahlias are not cold tolerant.They will have to be dug up ,cleaned ,dried and stored in spagnum peat moss in a paper bag in darkness.

At one time, Ih ad 120 different dahlia bulbs. The work became so hard for me that I just let them die in the ground. I have not planted a dahlia again. There is just too much work in keeping them for the winter, finding out some have dried out and I just gave up. I hope you enjoy them. They really are a beautiful flower.
They take no special care and they will reward you with beautiful flowers.
