How do you get melted wax of painted walls without leaving a stain?

    Put ice cubes on it until it hardens enough to be able to pull off the wall.

    I've also had success using heat - a blow dryer, and then wiping and gently scraping when its warm..

    Scrape off what you can with something plastic like a credit card. For any residue. Take some brown wrapping paper or brown paper bag paper and a hot iron. Place the paper over the wax residue and iron over the paper. The heat will melt the wax and the paper will absorb the wax.

    Ice and a plastic paint scraper or one of those rectangled thingys promoted by the bald cartoon guy.. apologies just did this a few hours ago..go with the bald guy!!

    I USED A DRY HOT IRON AND A TERRY CLOTH TOWELL. IT WORKED WONDERFULLY ON THE CARPET ALSO
