If it's your style, a doily table runner: http://www.ashleyannphotography.com/blog/2009/12/16/diy-doily-table-runner/
Sew one (or several) to the front of a sweatshirt, sweater, or tee. Or scattered around the bottom of a full skirt. Or up one leg of jeans.
Use them for lace draping in your local ceramic pottery place dip into liquid clay and place over your moist green ware and fire off very pretty ( you can color your liquid clay by mixing in greenware glaze paint then dip it in that and place over wet greenware shape it around object .. The lace will burn off in 1st firing after that glaze in any bisque color glaze or dip in finishing clear glaze .. And 2nd fire it You can place over small items in clay greenware that is still wet stage
Better Homes and Gardens has many ideas for thier use.
Use them as a background for photos in a frame.
I just made a clock with one, but not on the front like you'd think. I mod podged my fav picture to a clear plastic plate, then mod podged the doily to the back which shows through like a frame. Drilled hole, & inserted clock works. Kind of a boho/vintage look if you like that. Have fun.
If you like them then why not put them into frames, can always attach them to different color velvet fabric then they will stand out better. I've seen where they are put into embroidery hoops then hung up in the window.
how about trying to sew them all together to make unique style curtains or table runners or bed covering
they can be dipped into quickset cement, draped over tin cans for shape to let dry , then painted to make planters.
