You can try using soap flakes and putting them around your garden bed - it's supposed to repel deer

You need to stop those guys in the spring before they establish their eating patterns. my husband would wait. Till dusk , drink a beer and sprinkle all over the plants ..nothing else worked.

I put human hair directly on my sedum and hostas (Bambi's favs). I think they dislike the sensation of a mouthful of hair! Nothing else has worked for me.

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH...I NOW HAVE SOME NEW IDEAS TO TRY WHEN THE PLANTS COME IN ...THEY DO NOT LIKE LANTANA BUT I DO NOT KNOW OF ANYTHING ELSE THAT THEY WANT EAT AND ALWAYS LEAVE THEIR "MESS" BEHIND ..!!
Recntly heard that shredded Irsih Spring soap will keep them away.
Guess it smells in the garden too. $$ Tree sells 2 bars for $1. Haven't tried this so only passing on the idea. Worth a try .
