If you mean Chalk paint. You can paint anything without any prep. Only you will need to either apply wax or sealer. You can also use craft acrylic paint on glass. Then you bake it in the oven to bond it. Place the pitcher in a cold oven, turn the oven on at 250 degrees. Let it bake for one hour, then turn the oven off and let it cool down. Do not remove the pitcher until the oven has cooled down.
You can absolutely use chalk paint on a clear glass pitcher. Just give it about 2 coats of chalk paint and one coat of clear wax. Voila! Beautiful decor!!
Yes, 2 coats of chalk paint, and instead of using wax to seal it, I use frosted spray paint to seal it, and it still has the chalky look to it.
