What kind of pests?Ants,roaches,moths?
roaches, I found the source and covered it, but there are some that still got in. I bought a 12 year old house and in the garage was two water outlets and a drain for a sink, but there was no sink. I recently noticed a roach going into it when I opened my garage door at night when I was pulling into the garage. I would find roaches in the garage and always wondering where they kept coming from. But, now, they keep coming out at night in the kitchen. The previous family had kids, so there could be some residual crumbs here and there behind the drawers.
Wash all the cabinets out with white vinegar and water. Once dried sprinkle boric acid all inside along with glue traps. If that still not work you will have get the insects bombs, starting at the furthest part of you home ,room by room, close all the doors and leave for about two hours.
I heard that the insect bombs really wreak havoc on your homes ventilation system.
I'll try the vinegar
No the bombs are perfectly safe crack open the windows a little. They are guaranteed to work.I ran a garden center for many years.
thank you
Personally I've used "Combat" roach killer. It squeezes out in a fine line, only use short strips in spots where you see roaches. They walk thru it and carry it back to the nest where it kills the rest. Squeeze it into cracks, behind sinks, etc., wherever you see critters. I've put it in several different places and it works for months. Walmart carries it. It's about $8.00 a tube. Within a day or two I don't see any critters!! Do NOT use it where children and pets can get to it. I have 3 grandchildren(13 yr old, 10 yr old, and a 14 month old) and 2 dogs that live with me. Wish I could find something (besides cats) to get rid of these darn teeny tiny mice. I live on Main Street so cats (that I learn to love) are not an option. My grandson keeps the traps set and emptied.
