Apply food grade diatomaceous earth or corn meal.
The Diatomaceous Earth needs to be re-dusted after weather. You can use non food grade if there are no animals around & you DONT breath it in. Pour Xylitol directly down the hole, updating after wetting. XYLITOL IS POISON TO ANIMALS. Please, please, please be responsible with Xylitol use around animals, it's a horrible death.
food grade and no it will not harm the pet. You need to research in your area.I cannot answer that as I live in NY
did you try putting cayenne pepper on the hill, down in the hole? It's worked for me..What to you have to lose..good luck
Order diatomaceous earth on Amazon. You can get organic reasonably priced too. It is very very fine and powdery , you can get a sprayer or 'puffer' on Amazon also. try not to breath it as it is like baby powder.kills many insects, can be used on plants too. If that doesn't work sprinkle hot pepper flakes in the holes.
I used Malt-o-Meal. Also cornmeal in a pinch, but Malt-o-Meal really works. They take it to the queen, it expands....by queenie and mound dies.
