If you have wood flooring spray natures miracle which is a product that will breakdown the urine,If you have carpets sprinkle baking soda on them and leave on long enough to absorb the odor.Open boxes of baking soda and place throughout your home.
There is a product called OdoBan it's sold at Sam's club. That will remove any odor in the house. You can use it for rugs, curtains, furniture, air freshener. I love it.
Bridget, us Southern girls think alike! OdoBan is amazing. When we lived in Kentucky, our Beagle got sprayed by a skunk some 20 years ago. She barked to come in. The children not knowing the earlier incident with the skunk let her in. She ran through the entire house and rolled on every rug and carpet. My mother, a certified nursery worker in Alabama, said go to Sam's Club (and now at many Home Depot's in a Lavender fragrance). It worked beautifully. I used mostly full strength after testing a small spot on my oriental rugs. Works better than even my old standby baking soda and vinegar.
2 cups of Apple Cider Vinegar in a gallon of water-sprayed on the odor areas. I used a pump up garden sprayer with this concoction in a rental property that had 3 cats and a dog. It took a couple of treatments but now it is free of those nasty smells.
Jackson Galaxy has a sure fire cure. With 4 cats who do not use the box when sick, I tried everything. Got Fizzion and it works. Good for vomit, just about everything.
A product with living enzymes is the bext to use. I have tried all of the above listed products when we purchased a house that had a smell in one room. First we removed the carpeting, The wood floor still had a smell so I searched products and found out that the enzymes must be live to destroy the smell. I found a off brand product at Walmart that indicated "living enzymes". It worked!!!! I also left a bowl of vinagar in the room to absorb any smell in the air for about a month. After this combination there was NO SMELL AT ALL.
I do not remember the name but I will try to find it.
The name of the urine remover was Simple Solutions and it was less than $10.00 a bottle when I purchased it last.
Also if you need one for hardwood floors be sure to purchase one specifically for Hardwoods. I did ust this on my floors and had no problem but be sure to test it in a small hidden area. I have no carpeting. My floors are all hardwood and tiles.
Nature's Miracle...works everytime.
