That's really nice but I'm looking for something simple for me to do
Old file cabinets and their drawers make for good planter boxes.
Look at Strawbale Gardening. Bales are around $18 and at the end of use are basically compost you can use to fill raised beds or containers to expand your garden next year.
Look on Pinterest. Many people are using wood pallets. Just make sure they're not chemically treated :)
old tires or old children's swimming pool. make sure you cut holes in the pool for drainage. my neighbor used a old bathtub on legs.
