parsley, basil, rosemary, thyme, coriander, cilantro, sage. paprika is from a pepper plant, the fruits are small. pick when red, cut in half, dry then pulverize to powder.
That will depend on your lighting ,location, temperature etc.
Only grow what you like to eat. Otherwise, what's the point? Basil is a favourite here, we don't like Parsley so we don't bother with it. Rosemary and Thyme are good to grow - a woodier herb that does not like to be too wet. When you do your pots, if you put more than one herb in each pot, just ensure that they are similar in their light and water requirements. Woodier herbs seem to not like it so wet. Oregano is another easily grown herb. A lot of people don't like Cilantro also known as Coriander. For some people it taste soapy. Most herbs will grow well in pots. If you are growing Mint, just be aware that it spreads like nothing on earth, so growing in a pot is the best way to go. Good luck!
