Radiant Orchid Pantone – Embrace it!
Have you embraced the 2014 color of the year, Radiant Orchid Pantone at Lowe’s? Even if you do not care for Radiant Orchid Pantone, you have to admit, the color is totally captivating. Its Magical powers draw you to want to add this color somewhere in your decor themes. This one enchanting color, screams for its users to be original through their own creativity. I admit, at first, I was not too crazy about Radiant Orchid Pantone, then it just took hold and we at Hello I Live Here had to find some way to show case this bold, mystic color everyone was gloating about.
When you view Radiant Orchid Pantone it truly gives you a smile, as you admit to yourself this color is perfect harmony. Its such a happy color it encourages, inspires, and builds confidence in any piece that wears it, clothing, decor or furniture. Radiant Orchid Pantone is like that touch you get from a good pair of shoes that helps your best outfit stand out and be at its best. This one little color mix of fuchsia, purple, and pink undertones expose a rosy glow like your grandmothers cheeks.
It took us a while to find it, but today, Hello I Live Here used Pantone’s color of the year, Radiant Orchid, on that prefect piece. This little vintage end table has masculine lines, and wears Radiant Orchid Pantone as if it was made just for modern furniture. This lovely color looks good on any skin tone and furniture. I can say this truthfully, because my fingers were full of the color earlier :-) and it made me feel like my pale winter skin tones were bright and lively. If this one color can make me feel this alive, I can only imagine the power it will truly possess when it catches on.
After using this lively color of hope and joy, it is clear to say, Leatrice Eiseman’s wild choice may actually be a hit in the decor world as well as fashion. If you have not used Radiant Orchid by Pantone yet, embrace it! Find that one piece of furniture that can wear this color like you would wear that great pair of shoes, and watch that decor piece come to life with every brush stoke. You will be happy you gave it a try – we were ;-) . And PS, this little piece has everyone who sees it in my workshop swooning, and wanting to purchase this awesome little table. We also came up with an antiquing technique that we feel will be wonderful for this color, and still keep its message alive. Until we complete our next post of Radiant Orchid painted pieces, happy color of the year everyone! Here’s to new, brighter beginnings starting with this wonderful little can of color, Radiant Orchid.
Post you some table progress tomorrow!
Linda :-)

I love this color in 1 piece for perhaps a bedroom! But I don't think I will be embracing it this year. I am not a "pink" person, but it is pretty!

@Jeanette S Thank you for the comments Jeanette. I am not a pink person either, but for some reason this one color has many hues in it that look different in different rooms, with different colors or the sun shinning on it. I have it against white in this photo, so I think it may look more pink. I think it's perfect color for a little girls or granddaughter room. - I am going to try one more thing with it, but in flat.
