You can use tension rods! http://www.hometalk.com/diy/organize/kitchen/tension-rod-dividers-28182393
Tension Rod Dividers
just use the large paint sticks. Cut to length and width of your drawer. If you make them snug enough you do not even have to glue them
"barrow" the divider for boxes of beverage, vine or other bottle drinks. cut them down to fit your drawer. best time to get them is later in the night when the crews are restocking the grocers shelves.
Wow, great answers, all! I guess we're talking simple solutions that don't require alot of steps. What I did in my kitchen was to add a classy wooden silverware tray to my utensil drawer that allowed me to separate my peeler, ice-cream scoop, specialty knives, corncob holders etc... I know it's not extremely creative, but I love it. Here's an idea for big drawers in a dresser where you might want to separate socks and undies or things: measure the height and width of the inside drawers and go to the wood scrap area by the saw at a store like Lowe's that offers various wood pieces for pennies (at least the one in my town does). They will make simple cuts for free. Then, just screw and glue them in place.
