Hi Fennetta, For best results you should use Chalk Paint at full strength. However, you can mix a very small amount of latex with Chalk Paint, but if you mix too much it will change the properties of the paint. For example, with Chalk Paint you typically don't need a primer coat, but if mixed with latex that could change. Good luck with your project!
You can color chalk paint with latex paint... But I wouldn't recommend using very much. A good quality chalk paint has concrete powder in it to make it strong.
