Crafternoons: Have you made wreaths from dollar trees?

I made this wreath yesterday with Dollar Tree craft supplies. One grapevine wreath, some Spanish moss, & 5 dogwood bushes.
i couldn't find chenille peeps at Dollar Tree, so I bought those at Fred Meyer. I cut the dogwood stems apart from the main stem...wove them through the wreath.... carefully partially opened 2 egg shells, glued in 2 peeps...made tiny nests with Spanish moss...glued them into place with hot glue...
voila!

I love it! When you said you used peeps do you mean marshmallow ones, the ones you eat?
They do not look like the edible Peeps, but the fuzzy decorative ones. Love the dogwood flowered wreath. Thanks

A woman after my own heart. There are lots of things that can be used as a wreath form: a pool noodle, a hoola hoop, a wire hanger, foam pipe insulation that you can tape into a circle, etc. Then, taking the bunches of flowers ($1) apart, you have lots of flowers to put into the wreath. You can purchase ribbon there, and pipe cleaners there to make the fuzzy little animals, etc. And, you can do all this at a fraction of the cost of the regular craft stores or even Wal-Mart. It's a real bargain!
I made a deco mesh wreath this past Christmas using the deco mesh and ribbons I bought from Dollar Tree.
