Try rubbing plain white toothpaste in a circular motion,or any kind of oil with a soft cloth.
Use a damp cloth with the white toothpaste (not gel).
You can use heat to remove it-
I've always used mayonnaise to remove water spots. Rub it is and leave it overnight. I understand WD-40 works the same way.
