If it's clean after use (like you used it on something very dry), you can always fold it and save it in a basket to use again for the usual kitchen tasks. Also, I've seen really pretty flowers made with leftover foil, and you can use glue to stiffen it and keep it looking nice for various crafts

I use old tin foil for keeping my scissors sharp. Cut through the tin foil as many times as you can

Another hometalk person posted a tin foil Xmas star, in the style of the many-pointed Moravian decorations. I think she called it a Polish star, looks fun to do and can be made in many sizes and varying number of points.
