Living Room Updates and Still Going!

A while back I had asked a bunch of Hometalkers what color to paint my living room and foyer. Well, I finally finished the painting process. The Styling and Decor is still slowly coming together but like anything when you aren't a millionaire it takes time. LOL. I understand that green is not the choice for everyone and my accent wall color will probably be hated by some but I'm in love with it. I tried going neutral for my accent wall but I just didn't like it. I'm not a huge fan of beige or tan colored walls so instead of going with what most would choose I went with shades of my favorite color. The large living room and dining room windows make it look just beautiful during the day and at night a lovely lamp turned on makes it feel cozy. I love eclectic styles because I love mixing new with old and creating one of a kind decor and furniture pieces for my home. Before and Afters...
My vintage bird print gallery wall.
I love the shades of greens I chose. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea but I really love it.
Still needs a lot of editing and new decor but it's slowly coming along. : )

I love it, green is not my favorite color (although my walls are painted olive branch it was the color that jumped out and grabbed our eyes :) .-- brownish green color--brownish some angles lights olive green others lol) and I love the shades you chose!! And a home is always best with colors you love.

@Kimberly Noelle Exactly-- We bought over 20 samples from browns, rusts, golds and 3 greens and I had test swatches all over walls, (painted near windows and away so could see what they looked like in different levels of light)-- we wanted color but also a neutral and being in a basically open concept area it had to co exist w/ counter tops and fireplace. When I found this shade and tested it was so glad it worked for us! And I agree I want the right shade so it could last a while as I am the painter in family (Hubby gets more on himself than walls lol)
